Jaffa is our favorite area in Tel Aviv. We encourage our guests to stay here and explore this charming, buzzing, and historical neighborhood. To facilitate the travel to the event locations on Saturday and Sunday we arranged our transport to depart both days from the Market House hotel and the Setai hotel in Jaffa. 

The Setai is a brand new luxury hotel in Jaffa opening in April 2018. The beautifully restored Ottoman-era building overlooks Jaffa’s ancient port and the Mediterranean coastline. It has great amenities including a Turkish Hamam Spa and an infinity rooftop pool overlooking the entire Tel Aviv skyline.

We love this beautiful boutique hotel located in the heart of Jaffa. Its architecture blends in with the market and the lobby has a glass floor that showcases archaeological ruins of a Byzantine Chapel. More importantly, this hotel has a super friendly and welcoming vibe. Their culture is extremely personal and thoughtful and we guarantee that you will feel at home here. Frankie claims it has the best breakfast buffet she ever had. We also love their daily, free happy hour between 6-8: Delicious snacks and drinks and fun mingling. The rooms are small but nicely designed and mirror the urban and bohemian vibe.

This is possibly the most charming hostel that we have seen and an ideal option for budget travel. It is located in the heart of Jaffa and offers both, private and communal space. Their facilities are safe, comfortable, clean, colorful and quaint. You will meet a lot of interesting people on its large and blooming rooftop garden. The old, beautifully renovated building is one of Frankie's favorites. (Make sure to admire it's beautiful, flowering entrance door). 
The old Jaffa Hostel is privately owned and run with thought and care. The friendly owners take pride in the experience they offer their guests and the community they build. We think that they offer all modern day comfort a traveler needs without loosing a the historic, local character. At last we appreciated their delicious Israeli breakfast, the best local advice from friendly caring staff, and high speed Inet.

There are some charming and unique apartments you can rent on Airbnb in Jaffa. Jonas made a list with a few nice options we found and recommend. We stayed in Airbnb before and had a great experience in Tel Aviv. But we noticed that apartments tend to emphasize practicality instead of design. If you book a place, we recommend you to stay within walking distance of the Market House Hotel. Further, we urge you to book soon as July is the busiest tourist season for Israel and there is a limited amount of apartments.
